Just how long should it be...?

Every time i write a blog i feel like i need to write a long one, with silly amounts of detail and long multi-syllabled words to make me seem smarter then i really am.

My first full day off work and i'm sitting here at my desk writing this and watching Star Trek TNG season 6 on DVD, i also have two books to read, the first is called 'High Society: Grace Kelly and Hollywood', the other is 'The Road', by Cormac McCarthy, writer of 'No Country for Old Men' both so far are keeping my interest, the first is a biography, i didn't want to take it to work, mostly because i didn't want to damage the hardback cover, the second is a paperback and easier to carry and cheaper to replace.

I've been trying to do writing exercises to help with my screen writing, but never really got it going, so i've started two other blogs;

This one, is for my thoughts really, nothing else, i can up date from my iPhone by an App called Blog Press or by email, both work with 3G so i can write and post blogs from practically anywhere, of course that won't be very long.

The Second one, Fisk FIlm, which is my company, limited as it is at the moment, i'm trying to make some short films and eventually i'd like to make a feature, hopefully i'll be posting pictures, behind the scenes video (vis youtube embed) and progress on projects.

The Third one, Fisky Movie Reviews, is again a writing exercise, i'd like to write reviews not on the latest hollywood blockbuster or even new films hitting the theatres, but rather films i have an interest in and films i was disappointed with.

Its all to help me get into the habit of writing, weather its every day or every other day, i need to write more often, spending time doing these is, i hope, going to help, you see i have 36 film ideas and so far i've only written 2 full scripts and one or two partial and the completed ones are only first drafts, i hope with time i'll WANT to write every day, even if its only for an hour.
